Traditional Art / Drawings / Macabre & Horror

I have been working on this one for about a month or so.

The idea behind this is sort of the symbolic and powerful bond that you can never break between and organism and its parents. The "Genetic Prison" would be another way to say it.

I think another symbol that I worked in, is the concept of humanity being stranded in a de-evolved chaotic mess of organic matter in which we call society.

We are "trapped" in our moral and social construct.

I really want comments on this one.

What should I do to take this style to the next level?

This is absolutely marvelous!

If I wanted to "take it to the next level" I would try to add some tonal depth.
I love that it's black & white with just a splash of red, but I think it can go beyond a contour drawing without necesseraily adding anymore color to it.
